NEW BRAINTREE — Select Board met with resident to discuss Bridge Road improvements ahead of Barr Road closure. Chair Dennis Letendre, Jr said MassDOT is at 20 percent design stage; a survey found the Cronin family's well is on town property, which the town will not take responsibility for. The Cronins requested speed bumps, signage, and traffic deterrents.

Vice-Chair Joseph Chenevert said pull-off areas would be added, though road width would remain unchanged. The town agreed to cover lawn damage if fencing is moved, and staff agreed to contact the Cronins in coming months.
