NEW BRAINTREE — The Select Board unanimously approved Wiring Inspector Donald Manseau's proposed fee schedule for FY2027, voting to increase fees to keep pace with surrounding towns and account for rising gas prices. The board also unanimously directed the town to retain 2 percent of new electrical permit fee collections to offset Manseau's Medicare costs, which the town has not previously budgeted. The board additionally approved use of Glidden Hall by the Theatre Guild of North Brookfield and entered Executive Session for strategy sessions on negotiations with nonunion personnel.
