NEW BRAINTREE — Board approved fire truck financing unanimously. Vice-Chair Joseph Chenevert and Clerk Michael McQueston, with Chair Dennis Letendre, Jr. absent, signed financing documents for a 2025 Rosenbauer tanker fire truck, securing approximately $2,500 in interest savings. The board unanimously approved utility pole installation permits for National Grid and Verizon New England on North Brookfield Road, conditionally authorized Council on Aging use of Glidden Hall pending fee-sharing terms, and ratified the chair's earlier signature on a National Grid work order for pavilion electricity.
The New Braintree Elementary School will generate $550 monthly in rental revenue from leasing rooms to the town.
