NEW BRAINTREE — The New Braintree Historical Commission approved an extension through April 30 for its National Register of Historic Places consultant, Jessie Ravage, who requested additional time after underestimating her timeline. Deb Morrison reported that the Massachusetts Historical Commission notified the town on March 3 that formal approval was required, with Ravage recommending April 30 as a realistic deadline. The Commission also approved a $350 financial report and continued extensive planning for a July 5 event featuring the United States Air Force Band, including pavilion construction meetings, ROTC color guard coordination, and arrangements for cannons during the 1812 Overture.
