NEW BRAINTREE — The Select Board discussed serious Highway Barn rebuild defects on February 10. Dennis Letendre Jr., Chair, and Joseph A. Chenevert, Vice-Chair, met with Cabot Risk representatives Edward Grady Sr. and Adam Blaise and Highway Superintendent Richard Ayers to address substandard contractor work that has caused structural damage, water infiltration, and fire hazards.
The contractor has been removed from the project. The Board committed to working with Cabot Risk to resolve the matter.
